Back in Yorkshire

The Roman remains in Ilkley (Olicana to the Romans) consist of this piece of wall possibly dating back to the 2nd Century and some gravestones now in the Manor House Museum (see attached link)

Day 7 Matmata & El Djem

In and around the Colosseum in El Djem. The finest colosseum outside of Europe

Day 6 - Chott El Djerid & Douz

Phreatic water in Tunisia comes out of the ground rather hot. The Tunisians use concrete buildings like this in the same way we would use cooling towers in a Power Station
